Cheap Web Hosting

Sometimes simple is just better. If you are looking for cheap web hosting, you can google and get 2,130,000 sites to check out, along with a ream of sponsored ads. Or, you can go directly to Cheap Web Hosting and quickly compare by price, disk space, bandwidth and number of domains per contract.
Of course, being the cheapskate that I am, I asked for hosts for less than $5.00 per month that would give me more than 5 GB of disk space. Amazingly, there are 11 hosts listed. The best deal for me would be a host that provides unlimited bandwidth for less than $5.00 per month. I didn't know that was still possible!
But a note of caution is in order. 4Cheap Web Hosting shows a 4Value rating for each host and the one with unlimited bandwidth shows only 2 stars. Unfortunately, the company doesn't want to reveal the exact formula they use for the ratings. Apparently it is based on their secret algorithm which combines reputation, number of domains per host, and some other information. For that lack of transparency, my own value rating system deducts a star.
Still, the information provided by the site is straightforward and was accurate for the sites I checked. The site was super-fast responsive, so there was no waiting while the host searched the database to find the answers. Well, it would be disappointing if they hadn't chosen the best host for their own site, wouldn't it?

Next time I need a hosting ISP, I will go to Cheap Web Hosting and pick up the best deal in town.
